We wanted to spend as much time as possible out at Brandon's parent's lake house near Tyler, Texas before moving away. Everyone has so much fun and gets spoiled rotten when we go visit Grandma and Grandpa Poyfair!
We headed over for Memorial Day and met up with Brandon's parents, recently arriving from Oregon, and most of Brandon's siblings.

Kyla and Kash were able to attend their FIRST movie in the movie theater! Grandpa Poyfair took them to see Kung Fu Panda 2 - Here is Kyla and cousin, Isabella

Kash was developing his "lake legs" this trip. It was our first trip that he was old enough to realize he was swimming in the lake.
Unfortunately, Brandon's hand was in a cast and he could not take the kids in the water, like he usually does

Kyla LOVES the dogs. Especially Grandma and Grandpa's dogs, Lizzie and Chester. She constantly wants to take them on "walks" with their leashes. She loves them to the point of annoyance. The poor dogs. I think Lizzie is pretty scared of her. Here she is with both dogs on leashes on the back deck.
We headed back to the lake for the Poyfair 4th of July festivities. Here are the kids about ready to get on the boat. Kyla and Kash are with their cousins, Isabella, Luke, and Elizabeth.
We pulled out the blow-up pool for the little kids to use on the deck. Kash loved it.
Kyla and Kash slept on an air mattress. By the morning they were always sleeping on top of each other. So cute.

Kyla is a maniac on the tube. She is always yelling "FASTER! FASTER!"
Kash was so funny, he just wanted to be IN the lake. As soon as the tube stopped moving he was trying to throw himself out of Brandon's arms into the lake.
After a while, Grandpa Poyfair had to go inside so Brandon practiced driving the boat

Sad we never got to experience the lake house magic. Great pictures! Your blog is making me miss Texas even more than I already do.
We need to chat and catch up some more. I was going to tell you about this weight competition we're doing when we move back too. Jamie and I (and whoever wants to) are going to put 20$ in each and then set a time limit like 6 weeks and then see who loses the most percent of their body weight. That way the actual lbs number doesn't matter. Anyway- winner(s) get the cash!! We are going to start biking, hiking and enjoying Utah lots too and I'm going to find a time to do these things so you can come with me!!!
I'm so glad you are updating the blog. We have missed you all so much. I love seeing you again, even if it is only through pictures.
